"So... these Kikkaichuu... live inside you?"

He nodded. "It is a symbiotic relationship," he answered tonelessly. "We of the Aburame Clan act as their hosts. They live off of our chakra, and in return assist us in combat."

Keeping his gaze upon the blonde as he spoke, he watched something flicker across her face at the mention of hosts. However, the mild revulsion most people usually displayed at the thought of millions of insects living inside his body never appeared.

It was... interesting.

After a moment, her expression cleared and she reached out, studying his bare arm. She ran her fingers across the exposed flesh, her expression curious. "So, it doesn't hurt at all?"

"No," he answered. His eyes closed, marvelling at the feel of her fingers treading lightly across his skin. It was as if she wasn't disgusted at all.

She glanced up at him. "You said they feed off people's chakra," He nodded at this. In response, her blue eyes glanced down, the action making her look uncharacteristically subdued. "I suppose they're not big fans of mine..."

"On the contrary," He watched as she glanced up again, a slow smile spreading across his face. A startled flush spread across hers in response; he found it very pleasing. "We're actually quite fond of yours."
